The world´s current population is about seven billion people. The population gets bigger every day. Some scientists expect that by 2050, ten billion people will live on Earth.
The majority of people live in Asia, where India and China are two of the biggest countries. If all the people in the world hold hands, the chain would go around the earth almost 100 times.
